Subject: Amendment in export policy of Pulses.
S.O.(E) In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992), as amended, read with Para I .02 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-20, the Central Government hereby amends, para 2 of Notification No. 31/20 15-20 dated 20.01.2016 read wt’th Notification No 78(RE-2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 and SI. No. 54 in Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items, with immediate effect.
- The amended para 2 of Notification No. 31/2015-20 dated 20.01.2016 will now read as:
“The prohibition on export of pulses till further orders as notified vide Notification No 78(RE-2013)/2009-14 dated 31.03.2014 read with Si. No, 54 in Chapter 7 of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import items, as amended from time to time, will not apply to export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs up to 1 (one) Kg”.
- Effect of this notification:
Export of Roasted Gram (whole/split) in consumer packs upto 1 (one) Kg has been permitted.
