There was some technical problem from MAHAVAT site therefore auditors was not able to upload the MVAT audit report for almost four days. The WIRC has already represented the matter as on 11th Jan 2016 before the commissioner of sales tax. Finally department has extended the due date up to 21st January 2016. The MVAT audit report due date was 15th January 2016 and department intimated the extension on late night on 15th January. The policy of not giving intimation of the extension before the due date, is not good. The most of auditors has already uploaded the audit reports and nobody can take the benefit of the extension.
